Greg:LindyGregory Davidson is Lead Minister at Central Presbyterian Church, Hamilton, Ontario.  He has been sessional instructor at The Montreal School of Theology, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Religion at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, and sessional instructor at Knox College, University of Toronto.   Greg has a Ph.D. in Old Testament (Isaiah 40-55) from the University of Cambridge, U.K.  He served as Moderator of the Presbytery of Montreal, on the Assembly Council of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.  He is part of the (national) Benevolence Committee, a Board Member for Hamilton Out of the Cold, a member of the Ministry Committee of the Presbytery of Hamilton, and a member of the The Renewal Fellowship.

Greg has also ministered at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Beaconsfield, Quebec, where the congregation started a second worship service under his leadership, and St. Andrew’s Church, Ottawa.

He is married to Lindy, and they have three children.

  2. Hi Greg, I was very interested to read your blog – a friend had forwarded the link. The Elders’ Institute is conducting a consultation with ruling elders across the country by webinar on how the priority might be implemented. We will have a questionnaire on our website as well. I was wondering if you’d like to post your blog about the GA priority as one of our forums. Perhaps we could get some discussion going among ruling elders? My hope is that I write a very brief report and send it to Assembly Council as a summary of what the grassroots are thinking about the new priority.
